Honda offers zero per cent markup on motorcycle purchase

Atlas Honda is offering zero percent markup on motorcycle purchases from the Daraz store. The zero percent markup is only available for twelve months installments.

The banks associated with this offer include Bank Alfalah, MCB, UBL, Faysal Bank, and Standard Chartered. The offer is only valid for credit card holders.

In a time of inflation and uncertain economic situation, Honda is trying to provide relief to customers. The company is offering zero percent markup to make the motorcycles affordable to the people amid local currency devaluation against the US dollar.

Atlas Honda also offered this scheme to maintain the expected sales as the company already had a 52 percent decline in profit after tax for the period ended Dec 2022.

The company predicted that the economic situation would be uncertain because of rising inflation, fiscal slippage, and the drying up of financial inflows and reserves. It is essential to sustain the reform momentum and focus on policies for securing stability and promoting sustainable growth.

The company in a statement submitted to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) said that: as the economy returns to total capacity and recovery becomes durable, the two-wheeler segment is expected to resume its growth momentum.
